What are we Lycans?
Very good Question.
In my last edition I copied what someone else wrote, and did some editing, I admit this fully. I never said that I wrote it. It was a scientific look at the transforming breeds, the shape shifters.
This week I would like to look at the spiritual side of the Lycanthrope. Like in the movie 'Interview with a Vampire' I would like to look into what makes a Lycan (werewolf) tick.
In future editions I hope to interview other breeds and see what makes them tick.
I had hoped to Interview one certain Lycan for this, but, I fear that I pissed him off one too many times. (lol). So I guess that I will have to define his nature without him.
The Lycan that I am talking about has a sense of honor all his own. (I will call him KC). He, like most of us, prefers to stay to himself. And he wont do anything untill ya piss him off. But beware his wrath. He is the consumate Lycan, he sits quietly in his corner, minding his own buisiness, protecting his own family. Then, just as you think he doesnt want to fight, he kills you with one powerfull swipe of his claws.
The last time I saw him fight it was about 5 or 6 of us against about 40 vamps and nekos, and we held our ground. We got our asses kicked, but at least (thanx to him) it wasnt a total blood bath.
Even though we are opposite on some issues, I would hope that he knows that he knows that he has my respect.
But as a coin has two sides....so does this. KC has learned all that he can, and doesnt wish to learn more. His only wish (apperently) is to promote the sim that he is in. He does not wish to promote Lycan's in general.
Lets hear from a nearly new bred Lycan:
KM: So far I have learned that they (Lycans) seem to be put last in some places, but are very powerful, and are true to there own (most of them). In the packs, like in a big family everyone looks out for everyone.
KM: I see that there are some who's heart is really into being a lycan. They help us grow, and are always looking for new ways to make us seen. They also try to help the ones that are not full hearted. And deal with ones that are out to stop our growth.
KM: I also see that as much as others play to not have respect for us, they do, or they would not feel so strongly, to stop us.
